At the Festival I deal with the Polish theatres, transport, logistics and take care of Festival guests. There was a situation once when two ladies, who ran the Festival at that time, went on holiday at exactly the same moment and Janusz Opryński looked for somebody to run the office. An in this tricky way he found me, threw into the office, told me: „Here, three file binders and a telephone, and I’m going on holiday”. And this way, literally taken from a street… Generaly, I had no idea what was going on, I knew the Festival only from the spectator’s perspecive and there I was, with a few files and I had to guess which is the name of the theatres and which is a performance’s title. I guess I managed to combine two things, my work and passion and I regret it a bit, as passion always loses in such case. But it’s a nice solution anyway.
